Overall Goal of the Communications and Visibility Strategy and Alignment with SLMA’s  2023-27 Strategic Plan

The overreaching goal of this communications and visibility is to guide and support SLMA’s internal and external communication to ensure it is delivered in a manner that timely, accurate and support the achievement of SLAMA   vision, mission and strategic priorities articulated in the 2023-2027 SLMA strategic plan. Specifically, SLMA has developed a five-year strategic plan with a set of commitments to deliver on in the next five years. This communications strategy is therefore an accompany document to support and guide SLMA’s implementation of its strategic plan, especially the result framework below:

Scope of the Communication strategy

This communications strategy is the essential first step in understanding the SLMA’s membership, activities and strategic priorities for the next five years. It is the basis that provides content that educates, informs, and inspires the SLMA, as a good membership communications strategy will create trust, attract members, improve public relations, mobilize resources and create networks and partnerships needed to support the work of SLMA. This communication strategy covers both internal and external communication of the SLAM and significantly contributes. Its guide the membership of SLMA on how they should relate to their fellow members, Ministry of health authorities, partners and their beneficiaries
